idiris
Consent-first, first-party visitor identification.
Know who is visiting — but only the people who tell you.
idiris names a website’s visitors only when they choose to say who they are.
It is the deliberate opposite of the tools that unmask people in the background: no identity
ever leaves a browser without that person’s explicit agreement.
What it does
- First-party and consent-gated. A visitor is named only when they hand over their own
email and explicitly agree. No consent, no identity — enforced in the collector itself, not just asked for.
- Company context at the domain level. Enrichment is company-level and domain-based: the kind
of organisation behind a work email, never a named person pulled from a data broker.
- Anonymous stays anonymous. Visitors who do not opt in are a count and nothing more.
- A real delete. One request suppresses a person’s identity and their browser everywhere
idiris runs, permanently — see below, it works from this page.
What it will never do
- No reverse-IP unmasking of anonymous visitors.
- No matching against LinkedIn, Meta or data brokers.
- No fingerprinting to re-identify people who did not opt in.
- No selling or sharing of anyone’s data.
How it works
The site embeds a small first-party tag that it serves from its own domain.
Ordinary visits are counted as anonymous pageviews. Nothing personal is collected.
If — and only if — a visitor submits a form and ticks a clear consent box, they are
identified. They can withdraw at any time.
